A Manifesto for a Female Pugilist's Discourse

Updated: Nov 2, 2021

We believe in syntactical commitment. ("It is a beautiful day." NOT: "It is a beautiful day, isn't it?")

We believe in single intonations. (Q: "Where would you like to go for a walk?" A: "Somewhere close by." NOT: "Somewhere close by?)"

We believe in simplistic syntax. ("Close the door." OR: "Please close the door." NOT: "Won't you please close the door, if you don't mind?")

We boldly employ expletives. ("Shit, the dog ate my chocolate again." NOT: "Oh dear, the dog ate my chocolate again.")

We believe in socially unmarked descriptors. ("They have great shingles on their home." NOT: They have adorable shingles on their home)."
