Aidyn Mancenido is an applied cultural anthropologist and mixed-media artist who believes in harnessing the power of cultural diversity, and the creative capacity of the arts. Her scholarship, consulting work, and artistic projects have included collaborations with a range of communities on a local and global level, including immigrant feminists in Madrid; Roma in Granada, Spain; Dakota youth in South Dakota; Mexican non-profit leaders in Monterey, Mexico; and BIPOC collectives in Virginia. She is currently working on climate issues with a local non-profit organization.

Aidyn received her PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of Virginia, and an MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. She is based in Charlottesville, Virginia.
