Investigation #4: Keeping Score

I explore narrated text as score. I read from formative texts, including Audre Lorde, Saidiya Hartman, Shambhavi Lorain Chopra, and Simone de Beauvoir. Following the rhythmic impulses of the texts' latent potencies, I synchronize voice with movement, simultaneously placing three-feet by one-inch sticks of balsa wood into a form immanent to the moment. I construct my own safe space.
